This year’s fair showcased some promising changes, including:
Lower MOQs, Elevated Possibilities
One of the most significant shifts observed was the reduction in Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs). Suppliers are now more accommodating, offering lower MOQs, dropping from 1000 pcs to 500 pcs. This presents a great advantage for businesses seeking flexibility in their sourcing approaches.
Embracing Sustainable Development
A notable surge in suppliers offering organic or recycled fabrics alongside corresponding certifications was evident. The display of certifications such as Global Recycled Standard, OEKO-TEX, and Confidence in Textiles signifies a collective step towards sustainability in manufacturing practices.
Emphasis on Fair Trade
Ethical practices were a highlight too. Many suppliers proudly showcased certifications like BSCI, reflecting a commitment to better workplace standards across the supply chain.
These positive developments not only open doors for entrepreneurs looking to explore production possibilities in this region but also help build a setting around fair and sustainable trade.
